Taken around 1972, this photo was shot with tri-x film outside my little bungalow in Gulfport, Florida. My friend went out and grabbed a chair and stick and started knocking off fresh oranges for an afternoon drink. Mixed Media Photography, 48″w x 60″h. Scanned 35mm film printed on paper, torn and applied to gesso coated board. Image is airbrushed, painted and charcoal rubbed before a final coat of acrylic varnish and then clear encaustic wax added.
