Photo Mixed Media Paintings are original works: original photographs by Michael Conway, mounted on either birch substrate or canvas with gesso under coats.  Works are then worked “Read More” with different combinations of charcoal, acrylic paint, denatured alcohol and digital photo film transfer.  Final finish coat of brushed and fused encaustic or acrylic varnish .
