“Dead Water Horizon” 48″h x 72″w Mixed Media Photography. I took this photograph around 1978 while living on Siesta Key, Florida. It was shot on an overcast day facing west out onto the Gulf. I was shooting all these gulls with tri-x with the intention developing the film using dectol which is actually a print developer. It was an experiment to see just how grainy the film would turn out.
